Concert Performers

Details: The School is looking for performers to entertain our community at our weekly Thursday afternoon concerts. Musical groups and singers, dance troupes, storytellers, cheerleading squads, puppeteers, theatre groups, or others willing to share their time and talents are welcome! Online research and development of resource list

Skills needed/description of project: The Transition Program would like a volunteer to conduct online research and compile a list of programs in Pennsylvania for students leaving our Transition Program. In addition, the volunteer would be asked to create an internet group where parents can search the list and post reviews of programs they have encountered or used.
We always are looking for dedicated and highly motivated volunteers to fill the following needs throughout the year:
Camphill ProAm Committee
Day: Monthly meetings on Wednesdays; other duties as needed
Time: Meetings at 7:00 p.m.
Commitment: Meetings take place once a month. Committee members also are asked to follow-up in person or over the phone with potential ProAm supporters. For more information click here.
Camphill Challenge (bicycling event) Committee
Day: Monthly meetings; other duties as needed
Time: Meeting times vary

Mailing projects in the Administration Office
Join our mail team for occasional mailing projects on an on call basis.
Non-Residential Group Volunteer Opportunities
Spreading gravel on wheelchair accessible path
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
Time: To be determined by Camphill and volunteer group
Skills needed: Ability to work outdoors for extended period of time, use of a wheelbarrow, shovels, and/or rakes.
Removal of pest tree saplings
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
Time: To be determined by Camphill and volunteer group
Skills needed: Ability to work outdoors for extend period of time, use of clippers, garden shears, and/or saws.
Rebuilding stone steps in woods
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday
Time: To be determined by Camphill and volunteer group
Skills needed: Ability to work outdoors for extend period of time. Volunteers should also be able to lift twenty to thirty pound stones and be able to dig out ground to replace and shore up stairs made of
stones.
