Memorial Gifts and Honorariums
Memorial gifts are caring and sensitive ways of recognizing and remembering loved ones who have passed away, while honorariums are meaningful ways to celebrate life’s notable occasions, such as births, weddings, graduations, birthdays, or anniversaries. A gift to Camphill Special School in memory or honor of a cherished family member or friend will be acknowledged promptly and appropriately. Memorial gifts or honorariums may be made online or by downloading our donation form.
Sponsoring a stone in our Pathway to Learning, a beautiful cobblestone walkway that leads to Karl Koenig Schoolhouse, is one way to remember or honor individuals or families while supporting Camphill Special School’s mission at the same time.
Workplace Giving
As a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Camphill Special School is eligible to receive a designated gift made through your employer’s United Way workplace giving program. You may designate your gift to our School by specifying our complete name and address on your Donor Choice Form: Camphill Special School, Inc., 1784 Fairview Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343. If your employer does not participate in United Way, it may have its own workplace giving program. Check with your human resources department for additional information.
Matching Gifts
Many employers, or former employers if you are a retiree, will match your charitable contribution. This often doubles or even triples your initial gift! Obtain a matching gift form from your human resources department and enclose it with your contribution to Camphill Special School.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities (Stock)
A gift of appreciated securities to Camphill Special School offers two tax savings: avoiding capital gains tax and an income tax deduction of up to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income, based on the increased value of the stock. To receive these tax advantages, it is critical that you give the securities to Camphill Special School rather than liquidating them and giving us the proceeds. If you have experienced stock losses, generally you should sell the stock to realize the loss to the extent allowed for tax purposes, then contribute the cash to Camphill Special School and take a charitable deduction.
