The Tennis Ball
Chester Valley Golf Club played host to 249 friends of our School on Friday, May 8. After introductions by celebrity emcee Robin Young, host of NPR's "Here and Now," and a special appearance by Chester County Commissioner Terence Farrell, attendees enjoyed a delectable dinner, and a performance by our students. Auctioneer Ron Smith then took over to auction our eight mixed double tennis teams before guests boogied on the dance floor to The Chatterband.

ProAm Tennis Tournament
 Due to uncooperative weather, the ProAm Tennis Tournament was relocated to the indoor courts at Tennis Addiction Sports Club on Saturday, May 9! The Club bustled with Camphill Special School supporters and students cheering on our eight mixed doubles teams while they competed for the coveted championship trophies. As the crowd enjoyed the tennis action and commentary by local television personality Elizabeth "Bitsy" Jennings, they munched on burgers, hot dogs and other goodies and grooved to the tunes played by our DJ.
After a rigorous final match, local pro Gino Carosella of Cheltenham Racquet Club and last minute fill-in Chris P esta, took home the silver cups.
