The Camphill School of Curative Education offers practice integrated studies in curative education (for those working with children and adolescents with disabilities), youth guidance (for those supporting young adults with disabilities), and social therapy (for those supporting adults with disabilities).
Social therapy is closely related to curative education in its philosophical foundations, but differs in practical approach and method. In supporting the lives of adults with disabilities, the emphasis shifts towards creating inclusive communities that can offer life situations appropriate for people with a diverse range needs and abilities.
Youth guidance is concerned with guiding and supporting individuals with disabilities through the transition from adolescence to adulthood. Like curative education and social therapy, it is grounded in Steiner’s holistic view of the human being and incorporates pedagogical, social, and therapeutic elements.
The Camphill School of Curative Education is recognized by the International Curative Education and Social Therapy Council.
